In September, 777 Partners and Farhad Moshiri made an agreement for Everton.
Six months later, that transaction is still pending, and it is dragging on in the background amidst all the other conflict Sean Dyche is facing.
When the 52-year-old joined the Toffees, he probably knew he was taking over a disaster, but few could have foreseen the level of unrest that would soon ensue at Goodison Park.
And Alan Myers has been there the entire time, trying to always keep fans informed.
Alan Myers’s remarks regarding 777 Partners
The journalist is a highly respected character among Evertonians, whether he is providing his personal analysis of the team or outlining a transfer target for the Toffees.
Ultimately, even though he possesses insider information that makes him a highly regarded and respected person, his attitude and obvious passion for the team are what have gained him such a following among the supporters.
The Sky Sports reporter is currently debating the topic, which is generating a lot of discussion on Merseyside, on X.
Some fans are very dissatisfied with how long this story has taken, while others are just hoping it gets approved so they can go on.
As he observes, “My guess would be they do [get the chance to take over], I’ve no idea how it will go tbh, all I know is the uncertainty needs to end and a new direction is vital whoever that is with,” Myers’ plan appears to be one that will appease the latter.
Everton is in dire need of a new owner.
Throughout his eight years as Everton’s owner, Moshiri committed countless mistakes that will go down in history as a terrible ownership of the club.
His reckless behavior, which stems from his extreme desperation to advance while remaining incredibly ignorant, has caused the club to regress decades. His failure to entrust the appropriate people with his wealth is the root of all of their current problems, the majority of which have come back to haunt him this campaign.
They so require new owners. awfully.
But not so poorly that they should give up on all of their ideals, since it was their initial desperation that led to the club being handed over to such an unprepared billionaire as Moshiri.
If 777 Partners seems to be the only alternative available, fans shouldn’t settle for them because there are very certainly other suitors willing to step up in the event that the current transaction falls through.
And, in spite of Myers’ predictions, there’s a good chance that opportunity will present itself soon, since the Miami-based company is still being rebuffed in their pursuit of Everton.
