If Everton stays in the Premier League this season, Jarrad Branthwaite, a star player, will not be leaving Goodison Park.
Former Toffees scout Bryan King holds that opinion. According to TEAMtalk’s claim on Tuesday, the Merseyside club is seeking a minimum of £80 million for the defender.
This season, Branthwaite has made thirty appearances under Sean Dyche; later this month, he could make his England debut.
“I don’t think he’ll leave, unless Everton are really in a bad way regarding money,” King stated in an interview with Goodison News. He won’t go if they remain in the Premier League.
“They will profit from everything they do with him since he went through their system. They’re probably asking for a fee that is too much, based on my assessment.
“You will receive that and nothing more for him. Instead of playing in the Euros, he might merely play in the friendlies for England.
Jarrad Branthwaite: Will he leave Everton?
Given how regularly their young center-back has performed in the current campaign, the Toffees should really make every effort to retain onto him.
Despite the fact that the Merseyside club has frequently appeared weak at the back this season, he has developed a solid relationship with the more seasoned James Tarkowski.
It is unclear what Branthwaite’s future holds for both club and nation, though it seems likely that he will make his England debut soon.
