The Premier League’s Richard Masters has added to the unease by refusing to release the minutes of internal meetings pertaining to Everton’s suspension.

“It is not our practice to provide or publish minutes of Premier League Board Meetings, as the committee will appreciate, being a private business,” he stated (via Toffee Web).

“We are also not permitted to publish any submissions made by the Premier League Board or executive in connection with confidential legal proceedings,” he continued.
